On the contrary, its right powerful against control decks, and fairly weak against your average aggro.

I got this card in an Exodus preconstructed deck called "Widowmaker". The rares were Null Brooch, Oath of Scholars, and Mindless Automaton.
So much abuse potential.

Only combo in my Nicol Bolas EDH is this with Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind. Hardly a combo but sooo satisfying when I pull it off.
