I still think cycling lands are a good idea.

i was really confused about why someone would put this in there deck. It comes into play tapped, and only adds red mana. Then i noticed the Cycling.. My eyes expect flavor text too much, and so i assumed..
I agree, themlsna, being able to cycle out lands that you don't need is a pretty good concept. But with this card, that's pretty much all you want out of it..

These lands and the onslaught cycle of lands that cycle give you versatility. Early you can play it as a land and later on when you have more mana you can cycle it and get the spell you need. 3.5/5

I think cycling makes a card like this very powerful. How often do you wish that the card you drew in red was a card instead of a land.
