If they reprinted this card, it would be in every extended zoo deck. IMHO it is better than kird ape. For two reasons. In Extended your opponent will always have a non-basic land, whereas in your zoo deck you probably have four colours and therefore it can be a task to get out that first turn stomping grounds and kird ape (that usually costs you three life to fetch and shock lands). The second is that its creature type is more useful than ape.

Wow. How the times have CHANGED.

Pretty much a 2/3 for G in today's standard and in old format where dual lands are so popular.

I surprised I've never seen this in a Zoo list.

This is the green Kird Ape. Guaranteed.
