Extremley good against token spam. My friend plays a snake spam deck and with this, along with Noxious Ghoul I was able to keep him from having any tokens w/o summoning sickness out. Due to the XX cost of the spell though, pretty useless against everything else. I'd reccomend something more like Stronghold Assassin for non-token removal.

Don't forget, also kills man-lands (lands are also CMC 0). Nice Celestial Colonnade, there, mah boi!
How does this card work exactly if you have Training Grounds in play?

A wonderful threat that is not the end of the world if it gets destroyed. A two-mana creature that begs for removal is alright in my book! 4.5/5.
With Training Grounds, it effectively just costs two less. So you could destroy a one-cost creature for B, a two-cost creature for 2B, and so on.

As I found out the hard way, this is wicked useful against a token generator deck...

This should be a fantastic card, but somehow it has a rating under 4.

Hey there 40k Nurgle dood!
probably more geared towards casual, but he could find a home in some kind of MBC or {U}{B} deck (mostly because that's counter mana *or* kill mana :D)
Also usable on the turn he hits.
