No, sorry you can't redirect a triggered No Mercy . No mercy never targets a creature, it is simply a triggered ability with a global effect, nothing is targeted by the card, it is just a "fact of life" that creatures that hurt you will be destroyed so long as the enchantment is out.

This applies to creatures with protection from black as well.

This is actually pretty good. Blue doesn't usually get beefy flyers for cheap and this one includes a really cool ability.

I agree with Shahrazad. I would gladly add this to a blue deck as a reasonably secure damager.

The second ability is practically useless, since no one will try to target it. It pretty much just has shroud.

It was better in its day, but a 4/3 almost-shroud flyer for 5 is not bad.

Coalition Flag. That is all.

A nice creature, for sure, but Quicksilver Dragon is more beefy, and probably better in almost all decks.

They both have that great re-direct ability though, which more or less nullifies any direct attacks on it so long as you have mana. Your enemy can always mess up though and Dismember a creature of their own.

Sad thing about its ability is that you'll never get to do anything cool with it. As long as you have U open, no one in their right mind will target it... Pity, really.

This also turns Spiteful Bully into a black Lightning Bolt every turn for Blue. Without fancy combos with narrow cards, this is basically an Air Elemental variant, with some added value against removal provided you kept Blue open.

It was a fine creature in its day, especially in a color that did not have many big versatile creatures without crazy drawbacks, and made for some really awful grinds for black and red opponents and their suites of targeted removal. Oddly enough, its ability is also a drawback: you need to have a creature to threaten in order for it to work. This makes it a generally worse ability than hexproof, as opponents rarely take the bait, and it is useless if this is the only creature in play.

I remember using a singleton of this card early in my Magic career as a finisher in a blue control deck, with a full suite of countermagic, bounce spells and instant-speed draw spells. After slowing the board down with Propaganda, I'd keep one or two non-threatening creatures in play, neutralizing most of the opposing force with Unsummon and Boomerang, while playing annoyances like Man-o'-War and Dream Fighter to clutter up the board. After reaching 6 or more mana, the Wyvern would come down and often swing uncontested, protected by Counterspell, Power Sink, Mana Leak and of course, the eternally annoying Capsize. To restock my hand, Whispers of the Muse and Inspiration at the end of my opponents' turns were quite handy. Then I'd ride the Wyvern to victory while countering and thwarting everything that hit the board, watching opponents concede when I popped a Relearn or a Feldon's Cane and got back my bounce and counters. Needless to say this did not make me very popular with our playgroup.

So suffice it to say I have very fond memories of Silver Wyvern. Don't judge it too harshly just because it isn't Quicksilver Dragon. It's still a fine creature and was quite fearsome with the powerful tempo cards of its day.
