1b would at least make sense.. but I doubt anyone ever would ever play this over cancel, maybe if you had four cancels and four counterspells and wanted even mooore counter

Won't save you from Chimney Imp. Its a great counter in a limited format though. Like Cancel but you can actually splash it to play it early.

1 for artwork, other than that this card doesn't stand up againts close to ALL the counter spells available, even other counter spells that cost 2U such as complicate outstrip it pretty quick (especially with complicates cycling ability)...

They should shave one mana off. In today's environment it'd be a nice addition - mana leak and crew deal with the high CMC spells while this gets early ones. Cancel would still be viable because it's never useless.

Not a 1 star card, but not really good. At 1Blue this would probably be a little too good for Wizards to feel fully comfortable printing it.
