It's a sad state of affairs when goblins trump orcs in power.

I half-heartedly collect Ironclaws. They're so groovy.

Under original wording, a Little Girl with a +1/+1 counter gets by him, but not on the current Oracle wording.

This card was the standard red 2 drop: 2/2 with a drawback. The most popular drawback however was "can't block".

ooooh hahah - I'm just seeing this for the very first time and totally misread it. I had it reversed thinking "Whoa! What an amazing card! Can't be blocked by anything stronger than 1?! WWOOOWW!" (okay, maybe a little overexaggerated) - point being, I see why this would be a 2/5. Well played forum.

Ah, the ever illusive subtype of orc. Only 20 have ever been printed and apparently they are only native to Dominaria. Orcish Squatters are pretty cool and so is Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper. You know what would be really cool is a mythic rare orc just for the fun of it.

If you just think of him as a 2/2 for 2 that can't block, it somehow sounds less terrible, especially for the time it was printed.
