I also like the art and the flavour text.
Yet it's not that useful...
This would be such an interesting card if the activation cost required only one or no mana. Then it would combine nicely with Sensei's Divining Top or similar stuff. But as costy as that, it just isn't that useful.

Soldier of Fortune lets you shuffle your opponents library as well...

If you know how to shuffle cards (legally) and can read your opponent correctly; this is good for decks that require you to place cards on the bottom of your deck. But again you have to have good shuffling ability.

A 1/1 for 1, so there's that... Seems like the applications for this are pretty narrow, but I'd bet anything someone will build a deck where shuffling on command somehow helps.

Between this and Madblind Mountain (and maybe seedborn muse to untap), you could make a really annoying deck that just shuffled all the time. Throw in Vesuva and Followed Footsteps and you can be shuffling for ages! Throw in Voltaic Key and you have the worst use for that card ever! Throw in sculpting steel and you can shuffle even more!

Or you could just make a deck with an actual win condition.

Gotta love the flavor text. Incidentally, this might actually have some use with Scrying abilities.

@BloodDragon Except for the fact that Cosi's Trickster's ability only activates if an opponent's deck is shuffled... -.-

Seriously?
No one's mentioned this yet?

It's wearing Iron Man's armor.

Good way to deal with being mana flooded/screwed. Other than that not that useful. Gets the job done.
Can salvage games.

I'm not sure why Wizards felt this guys ability had to cost 2 mana. At 1 or even 0 cost it would've been far from powerful and still mildly impractical. Putting 2 mana into shuffling a deck should get you a Rampant Growth or something.

Put this sucker in your MTGO decks. The activation cost is worth it trust me!!!

I really feel like shuffling every turn will increase your odds of getting land drops. Let me explain

If you have 18 lands, or 30% you have a 68% chance to get 2 lands in your opening hand. If you only get 1, then your going to have to rely on your draws.
The chances increase with each draw, 76%, 82%, 87%, 91%, 93%, 95%, 97%.

Now one game I made it to 97% before I got my 2nd land. I thought, how do I miss all those "rolls" and finally get it on 97%, that's impossible! This shuffler has to be broken!

But the secret is, I only made 1 roll, at the start of the game! It was already set in stone at the 3% chance mark that my land would be that deep. But if you shuffled every turn, it would be setting a new roll every turn.

The chances of failing on 1 roll is quite possible. You might get unlucky and get that 3% chance. But failing on many rolls (i.e. shuffling before every draw) is downright not plausible!

It knows your planning to make a Ravager Affinity deck and it does not approve.
