Actually, Back to Nature was made to be strictly better than this. R&D felt that enchantments could become problematic competitively after the release of Rise of the Eldrazi's Totem Armor cards (though ironically it turned out that Eldrazi Con***ion and Splinter Twin were the most format warping from that set), and instead of reprinting a fair card with good flavor for the core set, they gave us a deliberately pushed 2-mana version.

You don't get nice pictures with artistic fluorishes like this anymore....
