Amazing card for shadow decks. Staple really. The fact its a zombie means very little...but shadow creatures are pretty fragile (rarely having over 1 or 2 toughness). So this guy can get really big pretty fast if your opponent doesn't answer with him before he does your other shadows. And he only costs 2 so its not like your paying that much more for this guy...
With cards like Dauthi Embrace having instant speed, you can also shadow people as they are dying to give this guy more food.

He actully does have some potential in a zombie tribal becuse you can buff him with undead warchiefs and since there aren't a large of abundance of decks that use shadow he almost always will be unblockable, or at least a deffender against other shadows I suppouse.

@ silverware: some potential????? i run 3 of these guys in a deck that doesn't have a single card in it with CMC over 4 and those are the 2 undead warchiefs and these guys are beasts! i end up with like a 7/6 shadow for two mana. this guy is fantastic!
