@HairlessThoctar Because Artifact lands in the same set were common as well.

Nice. In its set, it may even be better than its grand daddy, Pillage.

This was what's up.
In Mirrodin block, artifact lands were commons and everybody had a set of 4 (or ran two colors and had 8). Being able to bust their mana curve AND shock them was a win-win. If you were playing red, you had to have a playset of these.

LD does nothing against Affinity. At least, dedicated LD doesn't. I learned that the hard way.

Agonizingly close to being strictly better than Stone Rain. As it is, I would still run Molten over Stone — or both in EDH.

Molten Rain. Some are fine and others feel the pain.

People still rock the nonbasic lands, actually. Ravnican dual lands, for example. You can stuff twelve of them in a deck, and more if you pick the weird ravnican lands.

Speaking of which, as with everything else this is hilarious with Melek, Izzet Paragon and Goblin Electromancer. Do 4 damage and destroy 2 lands for
And to top it off, that art is beautiful.
Some stay dry and others feel the pain
