This was weak even when it was printed. The White version is by far the weakest since White has so many other more efficient ways to gain life - and did when this card was new.

@nibelheim_valesti Yeah it's first printing was all the way back in Alpha, but 1. that's also the set that the Power Nine came from, and 2. they kept reprinting it until 8th Edition.
