Are you stupid? It's a monocolored Fires of Yavimaya without the (little-used) sac ability. And that card was powerful enough to drive the best deck in Invasion block.
Fires of Yavimaya also had the benefit of not being completely dead in multiples. I recommend controlled discard effects in decks that utilize any of these cards, this way you can get use out of them and have less dead draws. In read I'd recommend SparkSpitter for casual. T4 drop him, get to use his tap, discard the doubled copy and spit a Spark Elemental at the enemy.
