I guess it's alright. It's kinda like bolting an attacker, and preventing its combat damage. But then again, why now used lightning bolt in the first place

Hmm, it says destroy, not sacrifice. If you could have a permanent way to regenerate it than it could be really good actually. Would go well with warmonger's chariot, like most walls of course.

Only better than Lightning bolt because it can block something bigger than an x/3 from hitting you, or you could put some Darksteel Plate on it

Red doesn't seem to have very many good walls. But then again, if red isn't blowing things up or spewing goblins everywhere then something's wrong.

Good candidate for anything that lets it attack, as others have discussed. Additionally, it destroys itself so if made indestructible it won't die (that's more trouble than it's worth though). If you're planning to combo, run with Stoic Ephemera, this card's White, flying big brother.
