That doesn't look like it's from Pendrell

Can make all the difference in many situations. Against Aggro it forces your opponent to limit how much they put out, lest they risk losing it to upkeep. In a mirror match of blue control it's not uncommon for them to run a few creatures. If you don't have any out, this will lock up enough of your opponents mana to really make a difference.

Run with Armageddon to clear your opponents board, and limit any expansion.

Used with Propaganda, this makes a pretty decent lockdown.

So-so. Maybe a little better than Magus of the Tabernacle because it doesn't create an upkeep cost for itself, but I'd rather have a hefty Magus around to block or beat with.

Is this effect cumulative if you have multiple copies on the field?
