Instant card draw is really rare, especially with the potential to draw a good deal of cards...

@bijart_dauth: You forgot "When Serpent Warrior enters the battlefield you lose three life.(You lose the life.)"

why dose this set always have the worst reminder text,
Draw a card (You draw from your deck) Destroy all creatures (This includes your creatures) Swamp Walk (A swamp is in play regardless of weather or not it is tapped or untapped.) Destroy target creature if it isn't black (A creature is black if it has {B} in its mana cost.) You lose the game at the end of that turn (You don't lose the game if you already won.) You may chose to tap any one creature (Tapped creatures cant intercept) Deals damage equal to the number of mountains you have in play (This includes booth tapped and untapped mountains) When Serpent Warrior comes into play from your hand, you lose 3 life. (The person who plays Serpent Warrior loses the life.) All white creatures get +2/+0 (This includes other players white creatures) And my personal favorite All creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn (For example, a 1/2 would become a 2/3)
Sorry for how long it was, but after getting a reminder from Test-Subject that I was missing some, I decided to go on and add them all, while there are more cards than this with stupid reminder text, many of them reminded the same or very similar thing, this shows all the unique ones from the set Portal. (Not Portal Second edition or any of the other ones like that.)

@bijart_dauth: One reason this set has so much reminder text is because it was designed for beginners. These cards weren't tournament legal, they were pretty much just for learning. Now the are legal in many formats, the decision was made largely due to simplify things I believe. (instead of having a random set in the middle of nowhere that you can't use)

Best reminder text ever!

@bijart_dauth: Haha great list. It's a beginner set yes, but still: Portal has such a big amount of senseless reminder text, it's like Captain Obvious was in the design team for this set. You'd be surprised though, some players would in fact play the card wrong without these no-brainer reminder texts.
Another interesting aspect of Portal is it's "demystifying nature". The your library is called "deck" even during play, and the graveyard simply becomes a "discard pile".
Pretty much the opposite of what Wizards does these days: "In play" now is "on the battlefield", the removed-from-the-game-zone is now the "exile", and "is put into a graveyard from play" on creatures is now "dies". (I'd have prefered using the former keyword "buried" for this purpose on any permanent though, since this current inconsistency messes up the wording of triggers that are affected by both creatures and something else like artifacts for example. But that's a different story...)
My prediction on this card's oracle in a even more flavor-filled future of Magic: "Look into target player's mind. You recall for each Mountain and red thought in it."
(Probably flavor overdosed, at least reagarding the replacement of "card" for "thought".)

The problem with this is that most red decks don't have any cards in hand anymore by the time you have 3 mana.

I draw cards from my deck?! That changes everything!

Captain Obvious {2U}
Creature — Merfolk
This creature has 2 power and 2 toughness. It's a creature that's a merfolk without flying. It's a creature that costs {2U}. Did I mention that it's a creature?

I'll just mention that that reminder text is there to underline that draw means drawing from your deck, whereas this could be interpreted as drawing cards out of your opponent's hand.
Also, @Mode: Holy crap, that's just a pure flavour overload. Lend me the Time Machine, I need to travel to a future where that is Magic terminology. Though perhaps recall would be more suited for returning stuff from your GY. That'd be a much appreciated keyword, I feel like. Perhaps drawing could be replaced by Ponder X.
(Yes, then Ponder would read "Look at the top three cards of your library, then put them back in any order. You may shuffle your library. Ponder 1." but I'm willing to take that, if only because it'd be funny as hell and barely any new players have much use for Ponder anyhow, nor have the card itself.)
