Surprising can be useful. Better than fear alone.

I guess it's good for helping new players figure out which cards are awful.

Surprisingly, it also nearly gives Intimidate!

Much better than intimidate. Can't be blocked by artifacts and black multicolor creatures can't be blocked by creatures of a similiar color. Can give all your creatures unblockable if combo'd with something like the Wisp cards from Lorwyn or some sort of Sleight of Mind effect. Overall a casual only card since even if it gave all your creatures unblockable it'd be pretty unplayable...good in limited or in a deck being used to teach new players. Cool art. Great flavor text.
