A white creature for combat, worse than a blue one? Way to go.
Well, on the other hand it's a really old one back then when white weenie didn't exist.
I strictly advise playing Temple Acolyte instead. Instead of blocking restrictions this Cleric provides you with 3 life.

This card is just weird. Statistically horrible, and the flavor is pretty nonsensical, though it might make perfect sense to a more experienced player than I. It's a horse that... Changes color when it jumps through giant froot loops? And who wants to translate the bizarre analogy for me of what exactly they are to warriors?

Alright, so this thing here is, allegedly, as important to a warrior as a big-ass bird is to a skyknight. But that isn't true.

Sometimes, I play to win. Other times, I like to play decks made merely to confuse people.

4 x Hipparion
4 x Tarpan
4 x Mimic Vat
4 x Splinter Twin

various support and horse-pumping spells

The Naya Horsey Time Deck. For the latter scenario.

From what I can decipher from the flavour text, aesthir (I'm guessing flying horses) are the mounts of skyknights, and presumably perform well in battle. Someone once said hipparions make as fine mounts for warriors as aesthir make for skyknights. General Jarkeld, however, knows better. These wimpy things are too cowardly for battle: they need to be reigned in with extra effort (by paying mana) to stand up to scarier opponents.

If you would prefer three 0/1s, you can make Hipparion Carrion.

"Yes, going into this fight will kill you. But, um... c'mon. I'll pay you."
