Well, for 3 mana, an 1/1 that locks one land. I think it's overcosted, and it's usually not such a big advantage to make a land unplayable, but when your opponent only has one of a certain land in a 5 color deck or something, it might come in handy. 2/5

It's nice to have this creature in a land destruction deck when up against Darksteel Citadel, as it will lock it out that land. It needs to survive summoning sickness before-hand though...
Combine with untappers and you can get multiple land locks from this card. identical to Mana Leech. For example, freed from the real could lock down 3 lands for {U}{U}{U} if you do it all at once.
