Technically has the same card advantage as Cancel, but I prefer it. If my deck is better than his my card draw should be worth more.

Actually better than many other counterspells in multiplayer. Countering spells is one very good way to make enemies, which is disadvantageous. With this, you can be like: "Dude, I'm sorry, but I just can't let you do that. Look, at least you can draw a card, right?" It still sucks, and your opponent still will probably be sour, but it's definitely lessening the blow.

A very clever inclusion in conspiracy, since normally counters in multiplayer just leave two people down a card.
