On a flavor perspective, I really love how some magic cards explain the role of certain things on the place that they live in. I don't have many other examples in mind, but there are lots of magic cards that do this. It is especially appealing to me, since these aren't your typical "Akroan X" or "Setessan Y", which, just by the name itself, already has an indication on what role they have. But Vanilla sounding names, plus a flavor text that situates and fits them in the block that these cards are in, is just sweet.

From the creators of "man with stick," we present... "bird with stick"!

This was meant to be an Artifact Creature - Construct, but the artist misunderstood the card title and drew birds carrying spears instead of actual cranes.

I don't see how this is only 3.0 - It's pretty close to 3/5 flying for 5, which is pretty solid for a common and excellent in limited

That's great and all, but do they deliver babies?

@Cyberium: That reminds me of FATAL, a.k.a the worst RPG ever made, where there existed a magical sword that would literally rape a woman who got hold of it and make her pregnant with a baby sword.

Are you kidding me? They've gone too far now! What's next, two swallows holding a string with a coconut in the middle?!
