Even though this guy has gotten a pretty hard rap in the past, I've always liked him. He's in Golgari colours, but not necessarily Golgari-flavoured, and it was kind of cool to realize that there was still some unguilded members of nature out there somewhere in Ravnica.
In Vraska's deck, I think the lifelink ability will mostly go unused, but there's always the chance that he'll get buffed lategame by Consume Strength or Drooling Groodion and then activate his ability for a nice chunk of life.
His three power will allow him to take out a comfortable majority of Jace's creatures, and without any burn or traditional removal in that deck, I think he might survive longer than you'd expect.
A surprisingly solid common, always satisfying to play for some reason.

Not a bad card, but I feel like there are lots of cool snakes who would have been better fits in Vraska's deck
