I wondered when we'd see her again. Didn't expect her in a Duel Deck, though. Maybe she'll have a better time sneaking through a less creature-filled U deck than she has before.

This new art is strange. She looks like she's made of clay.

If they're going to reprint a relatively unimportant planeswalker like Vraska then let's hope they have plans for some of the other nons out there (Crossing my fingers for Tamiyo)

Her new art looks pretty awesome, Better than Jace's art anyway.

I for one like the new are, she has a more alluring Medusa feel to it, also the putrefied humans are a nice touch.

Vraska doesn't stand out from other planeswalkers in power level, but gorgons all the way, baby.

I really wish the tokens had deathtouch. That would make my opinion of her better.

Although each of the Duel Decks is built well enough that they should be about equal against each other, it's easy to see which planeswalker is more powerful on their own here. (Hint: It's Vraska)
Vraska's +1 should be moderately useful against Jace's deck, especially since it allows her to survive being hit by a kicked Aether Figment and then follow up with a suicidal -3 the following turn.
Vraska's -3 is probably going to be the single most powerful effect in the entire Duel Deck, allowing her to destroy Jace's largest creatures, his Future Sight, his removal spells like Claustrophobia and Mind Control, and even Jace, Architect of Thought himself.
Vraska's -7 might see some use if a player is having an easier time against Jace, but I'm not certain how effective it'll be. Although Vraska's deck has more than enough creature removal and evasion tricks in it to make the Assassin tokens connect, the other deck runs a lot of bounce magic, which will destroy the tokens entirely.
I think that the biggest strength of Vraska here is how resilient she is against Jace's deck. While she has plenty of ways to destroy the planeswalker himself, he has very few ways of dealing with a resolved Vraska other than beating her down with his creatures. Most of Jace's spells which can target nonland permanents can only bounce them, and that will simply reset Vraska's loyalty for more -3 uses.
All the same, I'm really looking forward to seeing how these decks run against each other this March.

I'm really digging the Ray Harryhousen, Clash of the Titans - style artwork here.

Five stars for the art, she looks like she would end an entire guild. Secondly I love that she can just kill Jace off. I'm going to make a few changes to the deck, Liliana of The Dark Realms for added mana and the a few more Reapers of the Wilds and it should be fun. Oh, and Hero's Downfall.

The artwork would be awesome if it weren't for the weird Green Lantern looking dress she seems to be wearing. A more muted green at the centre might have suited better than the glowy effect they went with. Still digging the more classical appearance though. Very fitting for a gorgon.

Just bought the duel deck today, and I gotta say, I actually like the art a lot. You can't tell on Gatherer, but the foil makes the background much darker. Makes the eyes stand out that much more. On the whole I think it really fits her her character.
As for Vraska herself, I haven't played her yet. The only format I play these days is EDH. I'm hoping she'll be a nice addition to my Sisters of Stone Death gorgon deck. 6 loyalty ensures that something big or a couple small dudes have to die to take her down, and if left unchecked she threatens outright killing someone (once I have Lightning Greaves/Swiftfoot Boots out of course). Of course, she might just eat a spell, but hey, that's one spell I don't have to deal with.
Depending on the rules of the multiplayer game you play, you can attack multiple opponents at the same time and defeat all of them at once, provided that you have some set up (unblockable, destroy, or bounce spells).

I'm seeing so much hate on Vraska. She is fantastic and i can prove it. her first ability i useless but will keep her alive until she is ready for something else. Her second ability is pretty good and allows you to get rid of creatures and other plainswalkers that pose a threat Her final ability seems useless but if you use a card like artful dodge then it's an instants game over.
