This card is interesting. It doesn't care if it's blocked by something, as long as a bit gets through. An excellent target for the myriad of +X/+X cards that come in Vraska's deck.

I suppose this thing is kind of a like a snake or a hydra. It's downright creepy and it fits Vraska perfectly, right down to the dim lighting in the art.
I can see a lovely combo forming between Spawnwrithe and Drooling Groodion. Sacrifice a creature to the Groodion's effect, boost Spawnwrithe into a 4/4 Trampler, disable the blocker with the -2/-2, and get yourself a token. Next turn you can do it all over again by sacrificing the Spawnwrithe token in order to buff the original!
Shadow Alley Denizen and Rogue's Passage will also help out in a big way here. Needless to say, the Jace player ought to get rid of this thing in a hurry, or he'll be up to his neck in wrigglers.
