Darksteel colossus dieing to saprolings? How is that even possible without something like infect? DC is indestructible and using jade monolith on it is the stupidest thing i've ever seen.

I think this card is actually pretty good in many decks. A lot of creatures are vulnerable because of low toughness but have abilities that make them very useful. I would certainly pay 1 life to keep my beguiler of wills in play.
