Man, that name would have been great for a legendary creature. Preferably a pair of goblins.

Good tip for new players: pretty much only use this on tramplers and creatures you know will get through.

Anyone else think that this would have been a great name for a Rakdos fuse card?

Someone clearly thought up an amazing split card name just a little too late.

False god? How can Xenagod be false when his type line clearly says "God". I'll buy Karona being a false god, but not Xenagod.

Get on my level, Elspeth. Hail based Xenagod.

Ooh, two Monstrous Growths! Maybe in 14 years we'll see an instant version of this...

Adding 8 cumulative power to your board will most likely give you lethal power on the board and thus force your opponent into making an early chump block or two. If your opponent is still at a healthy 20 life this won't feel good to cast and most likely end up in card disadvantage.

Mostly it's worthless and sometimes it's game. It is never a combat trick. The free wins come from evasive creatures 9/10 times. With the name and the art I want to play it but the text box doesn't justify it's inclusion in anything but the most casual decks. Reminds me of Phytoburst in limited in that it is best seen as a green burn spell that usually counters itself.

This is proof. Elspeth hates fun.
