What's funny is seeing this card in the new set made me immediately find a slot in my Bant deck, because I realized just how good Impulse effects cards.

However, the card I added was Court Hussar, not this one.

And there I thought the old art was cool.

It might not feature the radioactively green eyes the old one had during thought transmission, but just look at it!
D'awww. You just want to pet it. For a raven, it is almost uncannily cute.

It's almost a drawback since you'll feel bad for not paying the echo cost.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the new art looks more like Innistrad than Tolaria?

Owls are smart and cute, but ravens and magpies are card advantage. It's really so hard to choose a pet these days.
