I hate it when people make completely senseless "mirror" puns just because it might sort-off maybe have something to do with the card. At least he didn't say "pun intended." *shudders* Try using your brain for once, for example;
Looks like this card, *sun gla$ses* Can tell the difference from black and white. YEEEAAAHH!!!

In a hybrid deck this could give most of your creatures protection from black and white, which could be helpful in some matchups. Unfortunately, it would also stop any of your spells that target your own creatures, so its usefulness in that scenario is debatable.

I know it's probably really stupid to ask,
But if my creatures have protection from those colors,
How can this card affect them?

@infernox10 - Remember D.E.B.T. Righteous War doesn't damage, enchant, block or target the creatures. Don't get confused because it's an enchantment. Without being an Enchantment - Aura it doesn't actively enchant any one creature. It simply gives all your white creatures pro-black and all your black creature pro-white. It doesn't say it enchants a creature or that it targets them in the text so it gets around its own protection ability.

@Controlled_Khaos good luck with that one, protection doesn't stop a boardwiper destroying all creatures

@ Controlled_Khaos:
Wrath of God or Damnation doesn't target creatures, so they get killed anyway.
All white creatures and a few diabolic tutors, pestilence, and this. Maybe a sphere of grace for your own personal protection.

High octane flavour here but it kind of breaks down when you look at it.Why does starting a war make my creatures immune to each other's colors? Still a cool card if a little situational.
@skorpionrazor: This wouldn't work very well with Darkest Hour. All creatures would be black, and hence have protection from white, but with no white creatures on the board, protection from white becomes significantly less useful. About all you'd end up doing is nullifying most white removal.
