Yeah, we'll probably play it in limited, but this is a far call from Grasp of Darkness.

It's kind of a shame that Innistrad is rotating out. This is absolutely terrible compared to Tragic Slip, imo.

Guys, don't let one guy get four of these things in Limited. I know it isn't Grasp of Darkness, but it is still removal in a set that really isn't overflowing with it. Trust me, when you can kill that Fabled Hero or two-for-one someone trying to use those cantrip auras, you'll learn to appreciate this card.

Removal has to get worse for creatures to get better, I guess. Oh well. -4/-4 is definitely worth splashing for, especially if you're in a color without much removal to begin with. Like green. Probably just green, actually.

Literally unplayable in standard, and is embarrassing when Grasp of darkness exists, but removal is always playable in drafts.

Apparently changing to colorless gave them .
Can't say I've seen that happen before.

Thank heaven (or hell?) that this isn't Fatal Fumes! This is in almost all ways better than Fumes. Sure it costs more, but it's no more Black that Fumes, and giving a creature an additional -2 toughness can make or break a game.
Still not as cost-effective as Wring Flesh it, though...
