Better than killing a creature with a combination of Dead Weight and Murder, because it's the same cost, less color intensive, and only one card.

It's like they took Dismember and took away everything that made it good.

Wow, it's almost like some cards are made exclusively with limited play in mind. It's almost like Wizards knew no one would ever play this in Constructed.

@Ferlord Except that power creep goes the opposite way that you're implying.

Acceptable for limited, but otherwise far too expensive.

This removal is so inefficient at killing the big things on its own, you have to make use of that -4 Power clause to use it as a kill spell during combat, to force a trade or one-to-one your opponent's blocked attacker with the assistance of your own dude. It's almost like conditional removal at that price.

Wring Flesh costs Black.

For an extra 3, you get an additional -1/-1.

Gotta love how "Fatal" Fumes won't kill most of the creatures worth playing.

Last gasp got a nice downgrade here

"How bad do we have to make these removal spells before you stop playing them in limited?"
Personally, I have no qualms passing these. It's more of a four mana combat trick, which is something I don't like playing.

It's like a taunting reminder of how good Last Gasp was in Ravnica limited.
