I don't exactly know why this card costs two mana while Dragon Mantle costs one. I would take Dragon Mantle even if I hadn't drafted heroes. This, however, I wouldn't take even if I did draft heroes! This could have easily cost W instead and seen no play. But yes, the art is pretty.

A two-pronged defence against getting two-for-oned. (1) You draw a card and (2) no one's going to particularly bother killing your creature for 2 extra toughness anyway.
