In sealed, getting to 5,6, maybe even 7 lands can be critical so even if you snag one of those you'll be ahead.

This card seems like it'd be good. You want it to be good at least. And maybe if it had a 4/2 body and/or if it cost even one less, it would be. I don't know. All I know is that this card, as it is right now, is awful in both Limited and Standard. I'm sure you can find a random Rat that discards more efficiently than this.

There are many things that would work well with Chroma (because I refuse to call it "Devotion" as long as they use that clarification text, that just gives us more card text rather than less). This is not one of them.

Every God has multiple spells that fit their flavor, where they mention their name or title. Phenax, not so much. But he is the only God with two distinct disciples, between this and the Disciple of Deceit
