It was good in its day, when creatures weren't very strong and the power level of non-creature spells were through the roof.

Now this can be fetched by Mystical Teachings. Why? Other old cards with these words were oracled as 'You may cast CARDNAME as though it had flash.'

Yeah, Suq'Ata wisdom sure sucks alright. What's with all this flavor text making every little creature in the world out to be the most scary badass thing ever? And for that matter, does anyone actually appreciate "funny" quotes like this encouraging you to selfishly throw your friends to the wolves (or cheetahs, in this case)? Give us Shakespeare quotes and wisdom from ancient texts, not adolescent mTV-mentality garbage.

Not the worst card for sure. 3 power with psuedo-haste puts it roughly on curve and allows you to bluff combat tricks. (That said, I'd always use something like Fleetfoot Panther instead..)

Those are all quite badass compared to humans (in terms of what you'd do without weapons and such.) I thought the joke was mildly entertaining..

Two of these were racing one day, one of them trips over the other. He brushed off the dust and said "Aaaw bro, you such a Cheetah!" Then they both laughed and slew an antilope or whatever.
