For being 25 cents each not the worst, least it budgetable and you if you play edh or causal it dosn't matter it comes in played tapped.

In specific decks, it can be better than a terramorphic expanse or evolving wilds.
In a blue/white deck for example, it comes into play tapped (leaving it vulnerable to land destruction) but next turn you can grab a plains or an island, it doesnt have to be basic, so you can grab a dual if you have it. and that land comes in untapped
