I think this card is pretty good actually, strictly because it could be used to kill creatures, if I"m correct.

When played on the right creature, it pretty much reads: (1)(R) Sac a creature you control that's strong enough to kill 1 of opponents attacking creatures. Bury that opponents creature. It's removal, but not at it's finest hour..

Came here hoping it was removal. But it's not. It's basically "if you don't cast Lightning Reflexes as a sorcery, it doesn't stay in play." You sac the enchantment. Not the creature. Latter would've been fun though!

You can use it as a combat trick people, learn some lingo. Or you can go sorcery speed and keep the buff. I think this card has aged well, Kindled Fury +

This is basically first strike on flash. Sure, you have to pay an extra mana, but I'd say its a fair trade off, since you can cast it at times of need.

Being strictly worse than a Mercadian Masques card is truly an unenviable position to be in.
