Firebreathing always seemed like a weak mechanic to me. I'm glad it's only one to cast.

Strictly worse than Crown of Flames. Although I run both of them in my {RG} EDH deck with Radha, Heir to Keld as the general. The {R}{R} she can produce is like a "free" pump with Firebreathing or similar cards.
