this card is quite a beast in the duel decks. I've forced discard Shrewd Hatchling followed by Niv.

It's funny how even though some people talk a lot, not much gets said. 3rd comment.

Annoying as crap if the Izzet deck doesn't have Dissipate.
By annoying, I mean incredibly devestating in the late game.
4/5 when these two decks face off.

Maybe it's just me, but with the inclusion of both Life From the Loam and Dakmor Salvage in this deck...I would have preferred Raven's Crime. One of the few times I'd be willing to sacrifice flavor for functionality.

It's funny just how often people forget about things with dredge as the game wears on. Every once in a while, either this or Stinkweed Imp comes back from the 'yard and surprises an opponent.

In the Duel Deck this can knock out Prophetic Bolt, Niv, Shrewd Hatchling or maybe even a Dissipate. & don't forget the option to use it on yourself in order to get a Stinkweed Imp or Grave Troll in the graveyard! If you don't have a high-dredger you can just use this card's dredge while ruining your opponent's hand until you have something more substantial. In the context in which it will be played, which is in the Duel Decks, it's a great card
