Loving this card. Can be used the turn it comes into play, since it's life loss it can't be prevented, and it's far harder to remove than normal means of dealing damage (creatures that is). Sure, 6 mana is a lot, but I guess you got to play it to see how well it works.

Nice with artifact lands and untap artifact effects.

3 damage per turn for six mana is underwhelming.

There are cheaper ways of doing this that dosen't require taping a land you control on top of the cost of playing the enchantment. But I am sure that this card could be used well in the right situations.

alternatively, this could have said:

'enchanted land is a mountain' lol. although, I understand there are certain other interactions that make this card more desirable than its high cost would at first suggest, it still ranks only 3 stars. I seriously doubt the more interesting options with this card are as powerful as 'just play Red'

This card's playability is too low, due to its high casting cost, but its flavor is good, and its artwork is GREAT (John Avon is one of the BEST artists in Magic)!

Expensive? Perhaps.

Useful? Hell yes. This thing hurts, and hurts lots. In the right deck, this thing puts an opponent on a 7 turn clock once it hits the field, at the very longest.
