Good for thinning your deck?
Or as a combo with a card that works with exiled cards?
Other then that its an expensive cantrip

Use with Mirror of Fate.
It's not a good card but may(?) find it's uses

It's great for casual combo decks or toolbox decks that want to thin land without moving to green or cannot afford half a dozen+ fetch lands. Not a bad deal for two mana really, though it can really suck if you're playing control because most casual/non-competitive control games start on turn two in Legacy and this card is unfortunately a sorcery.

Remember that it can hit lands and replaces itself the next turn after.

hivemind it, force your opponents to take things out of their decks..

but only do it when you can copy it several times (eg reiterate, so they must target the forsight with their reiterates too)

As atmos says, would be much more useful as an instant. Or have its mana reduced to 1 blue as a sorcery.

I thought you didn't have to find cards if a card says to search your library, so you can remove one two three or zero cards from you're library.

am I right about that?

Uhhhh....

Comboes with Pull From Eternity? Then you just need some sort of return from grave thing.

Luckily, I fill my deck with useless cards. Thanks to this card, I can exile them and my deck becomes playable...

Manipulate Fate is strictly better.

I think it's only when you've trying to find specified card from library when you don't need to find any. Check Demonic Tutor vs. Rampant Growth rulings.

If you want thin out your deck without exiling any cards you can do it much cheaper: use Urza's Baubles.

How about:

Monk's Focus U
Instant
Search your library for up to four cards and exile them.
Draw a card if it's your turn.
Draw two cards if you or a permanent or spell you control was the target of a spell or ability your opponent controlled this turn.

Combine with some sublime art of a fighter-wizard in a cool pose with their eyes closed and you'd have a card I'd totally play.

And now we have Misthollow Griffin. ;)

This is so sick with Misthollow Griffin. It essentially becomes "1U: Search your library for three cards and put them into your hand. Draw a card at the beginning of the next turn's upkeep."

Gets your commander out of your deck. Wish it was 'up to three,' though.

Thin your deck of excessive lands in the late game?

Basically just got really good with Misthollow Griffin, as has been mentioned. It's basically a two mana tutor for three cards, plus it's a cantrip. 4.5/5 maybe wizards saw creating the griffin in the future. Now that would be some great... Foresight.

You could use it just to exile 3 basic lands late game. When you reach your land threshold last thing you want to see is more lands. Deserves a 2.5 out of 5 just for that.
