this card is very fun! for 3u you get a good body, and you accelerate yourself (maybe)! also good in multiplayer for politicking.

Unfortunately, kinky mana acceleration is misplaced in a 2/4 body with a CMC of 4.

IMHO no. 2/4 is a nice blocker which you keeo untapped on opponents turn. At the end of the turn you use the ability to power some ability you want to use. Then on your own turn you play Drain Power from a stick and get the mana second time.
