Interesting. Could be better than simply evasion on a creature. If your creature is big enough (Or you can regen it etc) you can force you opponent to leave mana free to pay for the privilage of blocking it at all... hmm...

Combo with Lure or Taunting Elf to force your opponent to drain his/her mana blocking your creature? I'm not sure how the rules interaction works with that.

@cathode01 - Sorry, doesn't work. Unless they pay 3 they can't block your Elf (and so they don't have to). Basically this cancels out the lure effect completely.

Basically makes your creature unblockable for the first 3 turns if this creature have a 0 CMC, at least a power of 1, and haste.
