As impossible as it sounds, this is actually even worse than the rest of the cycle, when you consider how many alternatives green has for mana fixing.

This cycle of lands is just bad today but it still gets 2 points from me for sentimental reasons being some of the first nonbasic lands I owned.

This is sort of like Jungle Shrine's stupid friend who does everything Jungle Shrine asks.

Directly upgraded in Jungle Shrine.

This is where the An-Havva Townsfolk are from? This thing can't even summon An-Havva Townsfolk unless you have another land out!

Even the lands in Homelands were bad... kinda ironic.

Not directly upgraded to Jungle Shrine. This card enters the battlefield untapped, and can let you cast a Sol Ring first turn. Jungle Shrine and the rest of the Alara tri-lands cannot.

Even though these cards are quite terrible by today's standards, I must say that I still love their flavour.

Horrible, as was this entire cycle of lands. Still beats Sorrow's Path, but that's not saying much!

It may outdo Jungle Shrine in fast mana... but it will never outdo Shimmering Grotto in any way. Not that that makes the Grotto any good, mind you.

It would take this and two other cards in a combo to make this playable, which is still kinda ridiculous. Any of the Zendikon cards that can make a land into a creature, such as Crusher Zendikon, and Heartstone.

Everyone needs to calm down about this whole strictly better thing. Deep down we all know that even with the drawback of coming into play tapped mostly anyone would still play Jungle Shrine over this any day. And honestly in a tri color deck tapping for colorless most of the time is pretty useless. Now honestly this should be compaired to Shimmering Grotto. Which is just straight up better than the entire cycle. And don't tell me it isn't. because the only area that argument flies is in a limited environment. And in Homelands I would take a basic land in the wrong color over this anyday of the week.

Completely outdated by Shimmering Grotto. Still this doesnt come into play tapped and can tap for colorless, its not the worst land in the word if you just want a minor splash of green in your deck, but why not just use groto? Lol

You forget the main thing: Yes, these are crap by todays standard, but these were the first take on trilands. They taught Wizards that trilands should be better.
