Paying for it's casting cost is already horrible, why pay another 1U and discard a card to pay the casting cost AGAIN?

Five-mana 3-power fliers are already great in limited, and this one saves itself from removal. Granted, it's not great for constructed, but this is one seriously underrated card.

Man, fcuk this artist. Most of his art really does look the same. Baconradar wasn't kidding. They are all pictures of some freakey beast with its tongue sticking out, looking to the left side of the frame.

I think a lot of you guys are forgetting about limited. Yeah, this guy sucks for constructed and/or casual, but he would have been a decent pick in draft or sealed- allowed you to save himself and get threshold easier.

Not a very good card, I could see how it might have been ok in an Odyssey draft. But as for the Wayne England jokes; sure his tongued out creature style is there, but hey it looks pretty cool! And besides, how many of us can draw,paint,etc anywhere near that well?
