Worst foreshortening ever. The other art for this card is way better.

Not terrible, though Giant Growth is able to finish a foe off, and even it doesn't see much play.

The first MtG cards I bought/owned came in the form of two Homelands boosters. This was one of the cards included. Even then I knew this card was pretty terrible. There were crappy cards that I thought were good (see: any Mana Battery), and good cards that I thought were crappy (see Force of Will, but that was a year or two later, and I wasn't the only one ), and then there were the cards like Soldevi Sage, which seemed terrible, but maybe....
This card just sucked. No "if", "and", or "but". It just sucked/sucks (depending on format).

Whats benefit of this over fog?
Lets see, can successfully trade in combat while saving my creature, and or preventing trample damage. This to me is somewhere in-between fog and giant growth. Its more situational to slay something in combat with this over growth, but this can also negate damage when you do not have a blocker.

Overall 2/5.
I don't think I would use it, but it can have its moments and shine.
