an elephant worm. that's a really exotic creature type mix, don't you think?
or, as per flavour text, is this a normal worm until threshold when it transforms into an elefant?
the creature types should better have been adapted accordingly in this case actually.

I think it's the other way round... it's an elephant that transforms into a Wurm.. (elephant cards are typically 3/3 like this cards default stats are. Shame it doesn't have trample.

No... the "Wurm" is actually the elephant's trunk. He's like a trapdoor spider, but an elephant, or an iceberg, where the "wurm" would just be the tip.
This card is just hilarious.

I prefer Krosan Beast in all of its squirrel beast glory.

This was one of the first heavy hitting cards I owned, back when I started in Odyssey. And I still like it, because of the mechanic behind it...it got me into realising that discarding cards and putting things into your graveyard could be a very good thing, something I'm glad I learned early on, given how I tend to play now.

Looks like the elephants in whiptail wurm's art finally got along with wurms, but maybe too well...

Should be listed just as elephant and its ability should be
Threshold - metamorphic wurm becomes Wurm and gets +4/+4
but I guess that is not nearly hilarious as creature type Elephant Wurm

'Handful' because Threshold needs 7 in grave, and you draw 7 to start.

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all day.

I'd argue that it's an elephant that becomes a wurm; look at Werebear for reference. Cards that "transform" with threshold typically depict the post-transformation image of the creature, and contain both creature types. And, as it was said before, elephants are typically 3/3s, while wurms are more prone to the 7/7 range
