A surprisingly good addition to aggressive black limited and casual decks of the era. Threshold was not particularly difficult to achieve, and a 4/5 regenerator can be hell for some decks to try and compete with, especially when the best removal spell in the same set (Innocent Blood) was a forced sacrifice rather than targeted.
