I will never speak ill of this card. It performed extremely well for me at the prerelease. Often times I'd be swinging for 5+ flying every turn and they had no answer to it.
The Dragon Whelp is probably a bit better, but not by much.
That being said, this thing really needs new artwork, IMHO. A bony, deformed dragon-thing with a huge head, protruding ribs, and meaningless wings that lack flight surfaces isn't really good artwork for any dragon. If they are going to keep this fella around as the new Dragon Whelp, it should have similar "cute but deadly" artwork, IMHO.

@Radagast: Nah, the artwork's fine. I like freaky dragons, but I can get behind that the wings should have more surface area, though dragon's wings haven't been used as an explanation for how they can fly since Flight of Dragons.

I love this dragon. It has flying, massive damage potential due to fire-breathing, and he doesn't cost an absolute TON of mana. We need more dragons like this one!

upgraded dragon hatchling (must be the older brother or sister) he's also a baby shivan dragon. cute. :) my friends and i have a laugh at the flavor text.
