Flickering Ward puts this card to shame.

Two colors your creatures need the least protection from.

Really, your creatures need the least protection from green? I like being able to block big green creatures and have my blocker for the next turn. On a creature with vigilance (not hard to do in white), this is an unblockable attacker and an invincible defender.

Should be a shield cycle like the swords

Protection is always good, but auras are notorious for causing card disadvantage. Although protection from {G}{U} is nice, the colours that have the most creature hate are {R} and {B}. As pointed out Flickering Ward is an interesting alternative, it is more effective against decks without {G}/{U} in them, but can provide less protection in some circumstances. Also Flickering Ward has the ability to return itself to your hand, thus negating the potential card disadvantage that could result.

Oros, the Avenger laughs at your puny shield, while all the other primeval dragons cower in fear.
