As of this comment, there is one card other than Mishra that has a 5/5 rating on Gatherer!

Not anymore!

1st few turns in sealed you get some early damage and trade some creatures/removal spells. then your opponent stabilizes with a big blocker and you cannot attack since losing an attacker each turn is not worth the 3 dmg you get it. That's when you need trumpet blast: it's not a 2 for 1 since you traded creatures with opponent and the other unblocked ones all gave 2 more damage each, easily dishing 4 or even 6 if you really built the deck aggressively. Quite possibly devastating when used right, dealing more than burn spells, removing big blockers and the good bit is they always are picked late.

This card is awesome. won me a draft against my friend since he didn't block anyone. i was at 4 and won in one big swing with a board of 5 or 6 creatures. this card changes everything when your opponent thinks you got nothing to change the duel or win in one swing.

This card can be powerful in the hands of a pro like me who uses this when he has lots of creatures.

I don't get why this card is rated so low. Throw a few in a goblin deck with Krenko, mob boss and all of a sudden your attack with 6 or 7 1/1 goblin tokens becomes devastating.

Made for goblins and can be devastating !

Devastating in Two-Headed Giant games if your friend is playing Aggro too :)
