You guys noticed this is a common right?
He's a m@ssive threat in Pauper.
I actually want them to reprint this so I can use him on MTGO in my R/G Pauper deck.

Not as good as I'd want for eight mana, but not bad in pauper. And any flavor text that compares love to rhinos is an instant win in my book.

Even when this was printed, it could be killed by a two-drop. Though granted you'd still get trampled on for 7.
But hey, back then, almost all big tramplers had a drawback of some sort or another. The only drawback here is the mana cost (and even back then, green had a lot of ramp).

This is actually the most powerful common creature to date, aside from Ulamog's Crusher, but this one's got trample. Nice for Pauper?

Four toughness seems a bit small for a bunch of rhinos.

One of the exceedingly few Magic cards that mention "love".

Nowdays you can drop a Terra stomper ( +0/+4 and can't be countered) for 2 less mana.
